CHILDCARE

From infants to nine-year-olds, children of RCYC Members are eligible for childcare at our City Clubhouse. Whether you bring them in for an hour or a full day, your kids will be supervised under the watchful eye of childcare professionals, take part in fun and educational age-appropriate activities, make new friends and feel right at home in the RCYC community.

Our facility features a designated room for older children aged six to eight, a spacious area suitable for all age groups, and a cozy sleeping room designed for the youngest Members. All spaces are colourful and equipped with a variety of stimulating toys to foster creativity and imagination.

Things to know

  1. Drop ins are available.
  2. Spaces will be filled out on a first come, first serve basis.
  3. Even though Drop In is available, we encourage Members to call ahead and book a space. This will avoid a Member to be turned away in case we are at capacity.
  4. When booking a space please let us know the time your child will be dropped in and picked up.
  5. If a child has any sickness symptoms, she/he will not be accepted in childcare and should be kept at home.
  6. Please refrain from bringing toys from home, toys from home will not be allowed in childcare

Childcare Holiday Hours:

December 22 & 23: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
December 24 & 31: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
December 29, 30 & January 2: 9:00 am to 3:30 pm
Weekends & Holidays: Closed
January 5: Regular Hours Resume
 

Childcare Hours:
Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
Saturday 9:00 am to 2:30 pm
Sunday Closed

Childcare Programs

 
While in our care, we will provide school readiness so that children have a strong foundation for their growth and development. Activities include creative learning, circle time, arts & crafts, science, and motor activities all provided in an atmosphere of care and warmth.
