Welcome to the Royal Canadian Yacht Club! Our Members and Staff hope you will enjoy our extensive facilities at both our City and Island Clubhouses. 

When you arrive, please see a representative from our Member Services or Quartermaster teams. They’ll sign you in and show you how to get the most out of your visit.

Reciprocal Yachting

The Royal Canadian Yacht Club extends reciprocal yachting to the Yacht Clubs listed here.
 

Prior to Visiting RCYC

  • Please make reservations no more than two weeks in advance.
  • All visiting boats must contact the RCYC dockmaster at 416.967.7245 ext. 521 or [email protected], a minimum of two days prior to visit to confirm availability.
  • When approaching RCYC, please call our Club via VHF Chanel 09 or the Dockmasters at 416.967.7245 ext. 521. 


Check-In

Please check-in at the Sailing Office to obtain a Visitor Pass, and information regarding the Club and its facilities.
RCYC accepts VISA and MasterCard credit cards in the dining spaces, the Sailing Office and Chandlery.
 

Mooring Fees

Reciprocal Yachts will be billed $3.00 per LOA for the first evening of their stay. Those staying two or three evenings in a row will receive the last night of their stay free. 

All fees are subject to HST.


Our Location

The Sailing Office is located at 43°37'26.5"N 79°22'13.6"W.

CITY CLUBHOUSE

Monday to Friday: 6:00 am - 12:00 am
Saturday: 8:00 am - 12:00 am
Sunday: 8:00 am - 10:00 pm

FOOD & BEVERAGE

Monday to Friday: 7:00 am - 11:00 pm

 

The RCYC Dress Code is intended to maintain the standards and traditions of our Club. Members and their guests are invited, and strongly encouraged, to embrace the spirit and intent of the Club's Dress Code. Members are responsible for advising their guests of the RCYC Dress Code and for their guests respecting this Code. 

Please note that the RCYC Dress Code applies to children age ten and over. Children aged nine and under should wear neat and clean clothes. 


Dress Code:

  • No ripped, distressed or unclean clothing
  • No apparel shorter than mid-thigh (extremely short hemlines are not permitted)
  • No low-riding pants
  • No athletic tank tops or muscle shirts
  • No bare feet, wetsuits, or swimwear
  • No attire displaying crude jokes, expletives, lewd slogans or racist and demeaning content
  • No hats, save for ladies' dress hats, may be worn in either Clubhouse

Special events, including regattas, may provide exceptions to select restrictions or set an event-specific requirement.

 

Athletic clothing is permitted:

City Clubhouse:
  • Galley, Crown and Beaver Bar, Chart Room, and upper floors. 

Island Clubhouse:

  • Colonel Ovens Room, Sailors' Bar, and on the east side of the Verandah.
  • In the more casual, private areas of the Island from the pool house and beyond.
  • Lawn bowlers and tennis players may also wear their whites on the Launch.


Please note: The Dress Code for the Island goes into effect starting from Sailpast day until the morning after Last Mast Blast.

If any dress code violations are violated by Members or guests, Senior Management and Quartermasters are authorized to deny access to the Launch and both Clubhouses.
